Stories from a man that has lived many lives.

My Story
I’m 44, have lived in 8 countries (Europe, Middle-East, and Africa), and travelled to over 50 more. I have 4 kids and built 2 houses from the foundations up. I have been mostly self-employed during my adult life and worked with over 50 organizations from a commercial perspective. I have run 2 marathons, was in the British Territorial Army, enjoy rugby and like. I’ve talked to friends, strangers, murderers, addicts, and therapists. I’m happy to share my social, cultural, religious, racial, and sexual opinions through my words. My life is one of ups and downs, but never stagnating… and this is why I write, design plots and build characters, why I am an author, the Paperback Writer.

REVIEWS

“This is an excellent political yarn, from someone who knows the country very well and has a deep inside knowledge of the way that Africa works. I am looking forward to the next book Escape from Afronia.”
(David ,UK)

This is a most ingenious book very cleerly written. All appening with a day, minute by minute in the confines of a coffee house. There are several story lines, and I am most impressed, right up to the end. (Caroline, UK)

A friend recommended this book as I write poetry. I have read some poetry anthologies before but never a book telling a whole story in poems, let alone one which also included pictures and prose. I think it is very creative and like the arc of the character from hopefully to making a mess of his life to redemption, this much as all our lives are to one degree or another. The author captured the challenge of life really well and I would be happy to see what happens next. (Harry, Canada)
